He founded PIC in 1974 Worked in Shell for 18 years and in 1957 he founded the Egyptian Led EGPC from 1961 to 1966 and concluded agreements with international oil companies to resume activities in Egypt In 1971 , he was the first person to be appointed as the Minister of Petroleum in Egypt Received a number of honors from the Egyptian government for his effort in the Oil & gas sector.
