MR : Ali Wally

• Mr. Aly Wally was considered as one of the key petroleum people in Egypt. He founded PIC in 1974
• Worked in Shell for 18 years and in 1957 he founded the Egyptian Petroleum Company in 1957 as the first Egyptian energy company
• Led EGPC from 1961 to 1966 and concluded agreements with international oil companies to resume activities in Egypt
• In 1971 , he was the first person to be appointed as the Minister of Petroleum in Egypt
• Received a number of honors from the Egyptian government for his effort in the Oil & gas sector
